Chitra Kids Bracelet

Chitra Kids Bracelet

A little bracelet. A big blessing.

Chitra represents beauty, creativity, individuality, artistry and imagination.

Chitra reminds us that beauty doesn't always mean fitting in.

Sometimes beauty is simply being different.

It celebrates the artist, designer and creator within you, the part that sees possibilities where others see ordinary things.

Designed around the Navtara Paddati, the Bhagya Kids Bracelet celebrates individuality and creative expression.

Your child wears it as a personal reminder to:

Stand apart.
Create boldly.
Be beautifully you.

The bracelet includes charms and symbols of Chitra's Mitr (friend) and Ati-Mitr (best friend) Nakshatras.

NOTE: The bracelet is inspired by traditional Nakshatra symbolism and is intended as a meaningful jewellery and keepsake piece. It is not intended to diagnose, treat, prevent or guarantee any health, behavioural or life outcome for children.

Because every child deserves to grow up knowing one beautiful thing:

We believe “You are wonderfully, uniquely you!”

The story

Chitra Nakshatra

Chitra Nakshatra is highly important in the realm of Jyotisha. Chitra is also known as the consort of Savita, who is said to have given birth to the Ashwini Kumaras, as stated in the Mahabharata.

Chitra is one of the brightest stars and is distinct from others because it is a rotating ellipsoidal star. Brilliance and illusion are both associated with this Nakshatra. This combination of seemingly contrasting qualities can make the native misunderstood within the family, while they may be better received and appreciated among friends and colleagues.

Natives born under Chitra may display a combination of opposing interests, which can be reflected in their dressing sense, personal outlook, and interactions with others. They are generally intelligent and peace-loving, although they may also be somewhat superstitious. They may experience relatively easy success and have an inclination towards accumulating wealth.

The word Chitra itself means “unusually colourful.” These distinctive qualities may be reflected in the natives through their dressing sense, personal style, preferences, and other aspects of their daily habits.

Stars and Visibility

From April to July, Chitra remains visible throughout the night in the southeastern sky. Soon after sunset, it progressively appears at a higher altitude as the night advances. In the West, it is also known as the “Diamond of Virgo.”

Presiding Deity: Vishvakarma

The deity of Chitra is Vishvakarma, the divine architect and celestial craftsman. Vishvakarma represents the ability to create something new out of nothing and is regarded as the master of artisans, engineering, and architectural arts.

Vishvakarma presides over professions and crafts associated with goldsmiths, blacksmiths, carpenters, masons, and other skilled craftsmen. According to tradition, Vishvakarma is regarded as the son of Brahma, the creator of the universe.

Those born under this Nakshatra are naturally attracted to beauty, art, design, and structure. Chitra seeks harmony and perfection, although an imbalance in these qualities may sometimes lead to excessive indulgence.

According to traditional accounts, Vishvakarma created the Pinaka and Trishul of Lord Shiva, the Sudarshan Chakra of Lord Vishnu, and the divine chariot of the gods, as well as the sphere associated with Kartikeya.

The name associated with the deity, Tvashta, signifies a fabricator, designer, architect, or interior decorator—the one who gives shape and form to objects such as wood, walls, and other materials.

Activation and Suitable Activities

This Nakshatra first activates in the 5th and 20th years, in whichever house the Nakshatra is placed or through planets associated with it.

The natives are generally intelligent, peace-loving, somewhat superstitious, and capable of achieving success and accumulating wealth.

Activities considered suitable when Chitra Nakshatra is active include painting, learning music and singing, designing, marriage, benedictory rituals, activities involving gems, construction of buildings, architecture, fabrication, initiation of learning or training, preparation of medicines, and other creative or constructive activities.
